Gas network
How gas reaches customers, the current network status, announced works and gas quality data.
Distribution area
Our distribution system comprises about 500 km of pipelines and service connections in nine municipalities of Krapina-Zagorje County: Konjščina, Zlatar Bistrica, Marija Bistrica, Lobor, Budinšćina and Hrašćina, and parts of the municipalities of Gornja Stubica, Novi Golubovec and Mihovljan.

Schematic map: place locations are accurate, pipeline routes are simplified.
The gas network does not run along every street. We will check whether your building can be connected based on the address you send to info@plin-konjscina.hr or give us on +385 49 226 426.
How gas reaches customers
PMRS Konjščina
The metering and pressure reduction station takes gas from the transmission system, measures it and reduces its pressure. Next to it is the odorisation station: we give the gas its characteristic smell so that any leak is noticed immediately.
High-pressure pipeline, 25 bar
A steel high-pressure pipeline carries gas to the reduction stations PRS Zlatar Bistrica and PRS Zlatar.
Medium-pressure network, 3 bar
The municipalities of Konjščina, Hrašćina and Budinšćina are supplied directly from PMRS Konjščina, and the other municipalities through the reduction stations PRS Zlatar Bistrica and PRS Zlatar. The network is built of steel and polyethylene (PE) pipes.
Protection and monitoring
Steel sections have cathodic protection against corrosion, and we monitor and test the network regularly.

Trenutačno nema planiranih radova ni prekida isporuke.
How we inform you
We give timely notice of planned works that require an interruption of supply: the notice is published here and on the Notices page, and customers in the affected area are also informed directly.
When supply is interrupted
- Close the valves on all gas appliances.
- When supply is restored, check that the flame is burning on all appliances, especially those with a pilot flame.
- If you smell gas, call the emergency service immediately on +385 98 393 647.
Before digging: pipeline location
Before any excavation, construction or other work on your plot, request information on the location of the gas infrastructure. This prevents damage to the pipelines and danger to the workers and the neighbourhood. You can send your request to info@plin-konjscina.hr.
Gas quality
Natural gas in our network must meet the prescribed quality parameters. Gas samples are taken twice a month, between the 3rd and 10th and between the 16th and 23rd day of the month. We publish the laboratory reports for the Konjščina exit from the transmission system every six months.
| Parameter | Required value |
|---|---|
| Gross calorific value (Hg) | 10.31 - 12.75 kWh/m³ * |
| Gross Wobbe index (Wg) | 13.60 - 15.81 kWh/m³ |
| Relative density | 0,555 - 0,70 |
| Carbon dioxide (CO₂) | max. 2.5 mol % |
| Oxygen (O₂) | max. 0.001 mol % |
| Total sulphur | max. 30 mg/m³ |
| Hydrogen sulphide and carbonyl sulphide | max. 5 mg/m³ |
| Mercaptans | max. 6 mg/m³ |
| Water dew point at 70 bar | max. -8 °C |
| Hydrocarbon dew point at 70 bar | max. -2 °C |
| Methane number | min. 70 |
* The minimum gross calorific value of 10.31 kWh/m³ applies to exits from the transmission and distribution systems; the general minimum is 10.96 kWh/m³.
Calorific value of gas
The gross calorific value (Hg) states how much energy a cubic metre of gas contains, and it is used to convert the volume of gas (Nm³) into the energy shown on your bill (kWh). It is the volume-weighted average gross calorific value at the Konjščina exit from the transmission system, published by the transmission system operator Plinacro (SUKAP). We publish the value for the previous month from the 4th day of each month, once Plinacro has published its monthly report.

Quality of supply
The quality of our service is measured against the gas supply quality standards set by HERA, from deadlines for connection and replies to complaints to billing accuracy. We publish annual reports separately for distribution (DSO) and supply.
Older reports and quarterly indicators are available in the Documents section.
